Celebrations of Family

A celebration of family life in ceremony form, written with your words, encapsulating all you are at this stage of your evolution. Maybe you never decided on a special event when your babies were born, but it’s never too late for a bespoke Celebration of Family, led by a Naming Celebrant with 14 years’ experience.

I lead Celebrations of Family across Yorkshire (Huddersfield, Halifax, Wakefield, Bradford, York, Harrogate, North Yorkshire), the Peak District and North West.

Creating a bespoke ceremony would encourage you all to press pause, albeit figuratively, and take valuable time to contemplate your family’s journey to this point.

Together, we would seek to paint a realistic view of your family life, but always in a generous way – examples from previous scripts are available on request.

We would be able to give equal attention to more than one child, no matter their differing ages, so each feels embraced within the celebration.

Additional bespoke elements written with loved ones’ words can be included too: an ideal way to recognise the integral part others play in family life.

As an experienced Celebrant, I know sensitively judged ceremonies can be especially beneficial for blended or step-families – an opportunity for reassurance, moving forward together.

Even after your day, you’ll not only have shared in the whole experience, but you’ll still have your bespoke script to enjoy again and again.
