‘You were a dream to work with: highly organised, intuitive and patient. We were amazed at how you managed to craft what we’d told you into a witty, loving and ‘perfectly us’ narrative. Most importantly, Freddie’s character really came through.’ Sarah + Alex
Joyful humanist naming ceremonies
Many parents are now aware they have a choice when it comes to celebrating their child’s arrival in a meaningful way: humanist naming ceremonies. It’s a precious chance to reflect on all your child means to you, sharing your hopes for their future and your joy with family and friends.
There are all sorts of aspects to my emotionally intelligent approach that can make all the difference. We might include your son or daughter’s siblings within the celebration, for example, as well as other important people such as grandparents and guide-parents. I usually work directly with the latter so their promises remain a lovely surprise for you on the day.
‘Working with Hannah on our daughter’s ceremony was an utter pleasure; our son’s a no-brainer! Her genuine interest and care for her clients and their families is incredible; the ceremony intimate, full of laughter and wisdom. She is a wonder.’ Naomi + Dan
Additional ceremony elements are also possible, such as a charming bespoke reading written with the words of selected family/friends (perfect framed on your little one’s bedroom wall afterwards). There isn’t another humanist naming Celebrant offering the same combination of choices I do.
Together then, we can create a script, an experience and a memory that will not only delight but will also endure. My testimonials show every effort made will bring your child’s own story vividly to life on the day – a story you can then share with them for years to come.
If you’d like to achieve that for you and your family, just let me know.

‘You were extraordinary to work with. We’ll be ‘talking you up’ to everyone. For most, namings were an unknown; to a person, glowing comments. The impression you left will stay with them, and us, for years and years to come.’ Kate + Brad
