Manchester Wedding Celebrant

Looking for the right wedding Celebrant in Manchester? My name is Hannah Wroe Gill and I’ve been designing, writing and leading unforgettable bespoke wedding ceremonies in and around Manchester for the last 15 years.

Manchester holds so many happy wedding ceremony memories for me as a Celebrant: Sarah and Adam’s resonant words at Manchester Town Hall; Ruth and Andy (and the best brass band ever) in the beautiful Hallé St Peter’s; Sarah and Dan’s charming DIY day at the Didsbury Parsonage – she even made her own dress; Claire and Tommy’s black tie celebration at the Great John Street Hotel; Nicola, Ant and I having a ball in the deep end of the famous Victoria Baths; Jess and Stu’s wonderful ceremony in the twinkly shadows of Victoria Warehouse and Jess and Craig’s emotional wedding at the elegant Eleven Didsbury Park. It’s been a pleasure and a privilege to get to know some of Manchester’s many landmarks so well.

There are lots of ways in which my approach as a wedding Celebrant differs to how others tend to do things.

First of all, there’s the innovative creative method I’ve been developing over the last decade and more. The way I gather the information I need means couples get so much more out of the process, not just the day, and if you explore my 500+ testimonials you’ll see that reflected time and again.

Then there’s the quality of my wedding script writing, which is one of those elements that plays such a key role on the day and yet it doesn’t often gain the recognition it deserves beforehand. That’s why I’m always happy to read extracts of my writing out to couples when they book in a phone chat with me to find out more.

The quality of experience all my clients have means so much to me and I really try and look after people, supporting and encouraging them along the way. Nothing is too much trouble, whether that means reworking a certain section until we get it spot on or my attention to detail in bringing all the practical aspects of our ceremony seamlessly together. It’s another phase where my extensive experience often comes to the fore.

My wedding ceremonies are also humanist, which at its simplest level means that they are non-religious, written with my clients’ words and entirely focused on them, their relationship and their story. Every single one is completely unique, wholly fitting that particular couple in a very touching and authentic way. There’s nothing more entertaining, moving, thought-provoking or personal to really set up and elevate your whole day.

If you’d like to find out more about my work as a wedding Celebrant in Manchester and Greater Manchester, just drop me a line to say hello. I’ll be delighted to hear from you.
