Cheshire Naming Celebrant
My name is Hannah Wroe Gill and I’m an experienced Naming Celebrant who has been working throughout Cheshire and beyond for the last 15 years. In that time I have designed, written and led delightful non-religious naming ceremonies and celebrations of adoption and family for a myriad of Cheshire families, large and small, whether welcoming their first child or their fourth.
500+ 5 star reviews testify to the difference my particular creative approach makes, making the process of building your bespoke naming ceremony as fondly remembered as the naming day itself. Few other Naming Celebrants take the time and care I do to collect all I need to write a truly unique script in your child’s honour. It’s a really enjoyable process that encourages you to stop and reflect on all that matters most to you and why, but in a flexible and supportive way that fits around everyday life.
As our ceremony begins to come to life, we might decide to involve your loved ones too, family and friends you would nominate. This might mean asking them to perform the readings in our ceremony or maybe you would like particularly important people in your child’s life to make certain promises to them. If that’s the case, I can work with them on their individual promises so they remain a surprise for you on the day. It’s always a wonderful way to involve those you care about, recognising the vital supportive role you hope they will continue to take long into the future.
As an added extra, I can even write with your loved ones’ words, creating entirely bespoke readings, poems and well-wishings that capture their love and best wishes. It’s a great way to involve anyone who you are close to and nominees are often so touched to be asked. It’s also an ideal way to include any loved one who is unable to attend the day in person.
A Your Three Days naming ceremony is more than ‘just’ a ceremony. It is an opportunity for you to share your happiness with family and friends, perhaps also giving them a real insight into your experience of parenthood. It is a permanent record of your feelings, insights and hopes for the future that you can return to again and again, sharing it with your child when they are old enough. It is a celebration of all you are as a family.
If you would like to find out more about the beautiful bespoke naming ceremonies, celebrations of adoption and celebrations of family that I create across Cheshire, feel free to explore my Namings page or just get in touch. It will be a pleasure to hear from you.
