Whirlow Brook Hall Humanist Wedding | Sally + Sean
Sally and Sean very much wanted their Whirlow Brook Hall humanist wedding ceremony to be a true reflection of who they are, what they think and the way they love. In the past they’d considered Vegas, the Maldives, Gretna Green and just popping into the Register Office one Saturday afternoon, but none of those options quite fitted the bill.
In the end, basking in the summer sunshine in the beautiful grounds of Whirlow Brook Hall with cherished family and friends around them, Sean and Sally found themselves exactly where they wanted to be. It was so important to them that they recognised the role all their loved ones had played in their lives to this point, so we had a special thanks section in our Welcome. Then we enjoyed the story of Sally and Sean’s journey from a few tentative dates as teenagers to then travelling together and realising their relationship’s true potential. They wrote so eloquently and tenderly about each other.
Ring bearer, dog Sketti, may have been anxious to see mum and dad once they made it to the end of the aisle together, but then was very patient while they got themselves organised. The temptation to doze off mid-ceremony proved too much to resist in the end though. After their bespoke vows and ring exchange, Sean and Sally chose a hand-fasting accompanied by a reading inspired by the love, advice and hopes of their parents, who also led the binding.
You can see how much the ceremony meant to Sally and Sean in their testimonial below.
‘Huge, huge, huge thanks for Sunday.
You were amazing and we were 100% over the moon with your work.
You truly made the ceremony ours and we will never be able to thank you enough for everything you did. You are definitely in the perfect job for your talents and we would recommend you to anyone!
Will email when we get home and look forward to talking again.
Love and best wishes till then,
Sally, Sean & Sketti (their dog)
Xxx’
